Need help for Web Design

I’m a database manager in a company. My gf asked me create a website for her. Web design is something I don’t know but she thinks I’m an expert in computer field and it’s an easy job for me. I can’t let me be down! I’m just looking around the web for some presets. Can you help me?

Hi Geoff,
I suggest you take a look at Wordpress. Its a MySql based blog, for which you can find a lot of free templates. The site can be up in minutes and it is very simple to add articles and pages.
Cpanel based webspaces even have the feature to install Wordpress in a few seconds. All you will have to is choose a template.

Well you can make way more than one design with dreamweaver lol...but if you want a really good site I would suggestion to script it yourself or get someone to script it for you. Then edit the style with Dreamweaver and it turns out looking good. for example I only know a little about style but I can script but what good is a website with text and pics but no template, theme etc..lol...if u need help or anything PM me or e-mail me

Right lol.. Install dreamweaver and download some basic html template from internet and open it in dreamweaver. Edit what ever you want in the designer view.
