I have seen the biggest results from creating good links on social bookmarking sites. If you are not doing this, guys you are missing out big time. Good luck.

I haven't done much with this but am going to be coming up. There are several things that will help automate some of the bookmarking, too. One I recently had recommended to me is Social Marker.

Don't overdo this tactic, though. Like if you have a blog, bookmark the front page and that's it. Go back and bookmark your pillar articles as you make them (the best of your content) but make sure to only do 2-3 bookmarks per site. Otherwise it looks like you are spamming. Just make the icons available to your readers and they will do it for you if they like what you write - you can even encourage it.
