I bought a few domain names earlier and plan to buy several more over the next week. I got these at great prices thanks to some coupons out so they were bargains. I want to start flipping domains to generate an easy extra income stream so any advice from those with more experience would be great.

Well the best advice anybody can give you is, buy low, sell high. I would look on ebay for some cheap ones to start with, you can always grab some for a dollar or two when people are starting their accounts out there.

This is something that I'm thinking of trying, as well, but I haven't actually bought any domains for that purpose yet. I would also love to get some tips on this from experienced flippers. "Buy low and sell high" is the idea, of course, but there must be tips on picking the right names or what types are hot right now.

My only advice would be to start small. You don't want to jump head first into a business like this one until you know the lay of the land. If you start with a few and grow slowly as you resell the ones you have, you should do just fine.

Yes, starting small, just in order to learn. Flipping domains looks simple, but I'm sure there are things to be avoided.
I've found the domains on eBay rather expensive. Better is to buy them in webmaster forums, or finding completely fresh domains is even cheaper.
Anyone know of a good software to find available domains names? The ones I tried were just deceiving, maybe because it was freeware.

I haven't bought any domains in a resale. I've just been coming up with ideas for domains and registering them with a couple different registrars where I can get some sort of deal. Today I registered two holiday domains and was surprised to see them untaken.

Interesting though how these guys still think English is the only game in town.

If you are a flipper, why would you care which language the domain is in?
